Gloria Ilene Qualls 2017

Gloria Ilene Qualls, 78, of Independence, Missouri, passed away January 30, 2017.

A graveside service will be held at 9:45 PM today, February 4, 2017, at Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, with memorial services held at 11:00 AM today at Stone Church Community of Christ, 1012 West Lexington Avenue, Independence, Missouri 64050.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stone Church. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, S. Paul Carpenter and Naomi (Williams) Carpenter.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Duane Qualls; daughter, Lisa Qualls; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Todd Bickel; son, Scott Qualls; sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Phil Mallory; four grandchildren; and many extended family members.

The family thanks Rosewood Health Center at The Groves, where many people loved and cared for Gloria. They also appreciate the care provided by One Community Hospice.

Arrangements: Heartland Burial.
