Theodore Martin Fleischman 1938 - 2014

Ted Fleischman of Kansas City was born on February 15, 1938, to Mildred (Primm) Fleischman and Theodore Martin Fleischman of Independence, Missouri, and died Monday, February 24, 2014.

He had a long career with TWA.

Ted was an avid sailor, and a part of the friendly crowd at Paradise Point Yacht Club.

In his teens he learned Amateur Radio and has enjoyed the hobby all his life. He was a member of the Northland Amateur Radio Emergency Service for Clay and Platte Counties.

He joined Scouting in his youth, advanced to Eagle, and served as Camp Directing Sachem in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say at H. Roe Bartle Scout Camp.

Ted practiced and was an accredited teacher of T'ai Chi Chih.

He leaves his wife, Lucy Ann (Laur) Fleischman, son, Noah (Linda) Fleischman, sister, Sandra (Russell) Bentch, nephew, Chris (Theresa) Bentch and their family, and cousin, Janis Reding, and her family.

His family and friends are planning future events and gatherings to celebrate the life he lived so well.
